Growing Up and Staying Safe: New York City K-12 HIV Education Curriculum
In September 2023, New York City Public Schools released Growing Up and Staying Safe: New York City K-12 HIV Education Curriculum, the first major update to NYC’s HIV curriculum since 2012. This collection contains a Teacher and Administrator Guide, lesson materials for each grade, and family-facing materials. Before beginning the lessons, teachers and administrators should complete the new, 30-minute self-guided HIV Education: Introduction to Requirements and Resources course on WeLearnNYC.
