Representing trigonometric functions (algebra II)

Grades 10 - 12 Mathematics

This lesson is intended to help teachers assess how well students are able to model a periodic situation using trigonometric functions and interpret the constants a, b, c in the formula h = a + b cos ct in terms of a physical situation.  It is intended for students in Algebra II and provided by the Shell Center for Mathematics.
