Carnival of probability
This lesson plan describes the eight different probability stations created by two middle school math teachers who staged a "Carnival of Probability" for their 7th graders. At the "Carnival" students played games, calculated the probability of winning each game, discussed the theoretical vs. actual outcome and won tickets to earn prizes. This task is shared from Andrew Stadel's blog Divisible by 3 [Andrew Stadel]. Andrew is a middle school math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, & Geometry) teacher. Standards: CCSS 7.SP.5 and 7.SP.6
