Stonewall National Monument elementary collection

This interdisciplinary teacher resource contains the pre-visit, on site, and post-visit lessons for K-5 students to accompany teaching around the Stonewall Riots and the Stonewall National Monument. The events of Stonewall opened the door for millions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Americans to begin pressing for full and equal civil rights.

This collection also contains a file with all lesson materials. Meant to prepare students for a visit to the Stonewall National Monument in Manhattan. The monument is located on West 4th Street and Christopher Street in Manhattan.
