This collection, developed by the staff at Urban Scholars Community School, contains schoolwide strategies that foster student independence and academic risk-taking. Resources include individualized tools that are created for each student to foster academic growth. Additionally, readers will learn about how to support students’ social-emotional development through The 4 R's Program (Reading, Writing, Respect & Resolution), which began through a partnership with Morningside Center to integrate social-emotional learning and the language arts.
