Initial Planning Conference (IPC) toolkit

The Initial Planning Conference (IPC) is a mandatory one-on-one meeting between the teacher and evaluator that occurs prior to any formal or informal classroom observations required by Advance. During the IPC, the evaluator and teacher meet face-to-face to discuss expectations for the year ahead. The IPC Toolkit provides information regarding policy requirements, highlights promising practices for IPCs, and includes tools, templates, and sample videos to support school leaders and teachers in preparing for collaborative professional conversations.
