Chancellor Fariña’s September 12, 2017 letter to students, families, and staff following the announcement of President Trump’s plans to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

This guide, created by the NYCDOE Office of Safety and Youth Development, can be used to prove a safe and inclusive school environment and comply with the Dignity Act. The Dignity Act makes it the policy of New York State to afford all students in public schools an environment free of discrimination and harassment.
