In this 45-minute professional learning activity, participants will use an excerpt from  Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED talk “The Danger of a Single Story” to reflect on the ways in which we form predetermined narratives (or, “stories”) about one another, and how these “stories” impact learning and educational equity.

This optional resource provides three example narratives to support participants in identifying “stories” that might be present in their own school context.
