Adapted from Welcoming Schools: A Project of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, this lesson supplements the Grade 3, Unit 1 curriculum, which focuses on personal health and safety, including how to care for and protect your mind and body. Students are asked to consider the difference between good-natured teasing and bullying through discussion of fictional scenarios and reflection on real-life situations.
