This document discusses the pedagogical foundation for teachers to carefully, thoughtfully, and intentionally shape feedback to students to ensure it accelerates learning and builds trust, particularly with students who felt alienated from school in the past. And in the process, the loop from instruction to feedback and back to instruction informs and strengthens teacher practice.
