New Teacher Week Schedule and Catalogue

Welcome to New Teacher Week 2024.  Our first day together, August 27th, will be a live, in-person event.  Your registration will indicate your location from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  

On August 28th and 29th, you will use the Session Catalog in this resource to schedule asynchronous sessions. There are four required courses that you must take as a teacher newly entering the New York City Public Schools.  These classes are Core Beliefs, Introduction to the Danielson Framework for Teaching, Introduction to Instructional Mentoring, and The Chancellor's Regulations.
