College decision day site coordinator toolkit

College Decision Day is New York City’s adoption of National College Signing Day, a program of the First Lady's Reach Higher Initiative. College Signing Day is held on May 1 to coincide with the date that most seniors must inform a college of their plans to enroll. There are many factors our students should consider when choosing which admissions offer to accept and where to matriculate. That is why here, at the Office of Postsecondary Readiness (OPSR), we are pleased to announce our annual College Decision Day to support our seniors to make an informed college decision, celebrate them for their postsecondary plans, and encourage younger students and families to prepare for college as early as possible. Visit our website, for tools on how to support your students make informed decisions, checklists for hosting successful College Decision Day activities and more!
