Civil Rights Movement text set
This "expert pack" explores the question "What was it like to be a young person during the American Civil Rights Movement?" Included find a variety of resources and accompanying activities grouped to create as coherent and gradual a learning process for students as possible, generally beginning with lower levels (as measured by quantitative and qualitative measures) and moving to more complex levels in the latter selections. The goal is to help support students’ ability to read the next selection and to become ‘experts’ on the topic they are reading about. This pack is shared by Student Achievement Partners. Note, the activities are available for free but the texts are not included.
