Chapter 10: Arts Achieve formative assessment video

Arts Achieve was a multi-year, federal grant-funded initiative offered through the Office of Arts and Special Projects to support arts learning and Common Core Capacities for Career and College Readiness. The project involved a partnership between OASP and five of the city's premier cultural organizations, Studio in a School, ArtsConnection, the Weill Music Institute (WMI) at Carnegie Hall, the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at the 92nd Street Y, and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum; as well as the evaluation firm, Metis Associates. In partnership with these institutions, OASP developed arts performance assessments, and practices that support formative assessment in Dance, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts.

These videos on implementing formative assessment in the classroom were prepared by Dr. Heidi Andrade of the University at Albany. This is Chapter 10: Other Formative Assessment Tools that Work.
