Teaching and learning through collaboration: 15K442

This collection of resources brings together the materials shared by the Carroll Gardens School for Innovation at their Showcase School visit. These resources can help educators think about, develop, and utilize Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) strategies. Several of the resources provide information about how to make use of various technologies to support inclusive classrooms and co-teaching.

Included Resources

This is a "quick reference guide" to Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) models, adapted from the work of Maryln Friend.  You can use this guide to become familiar with co-teaching models, and as a decision-making resource when planning co-taught lessons.

This planning template, developed by and used at CGSI, provides educators with a space to map out how they will employ ICT strategies in their classrooms and what the responsibilities of each adult in the room will be.

This document explains the history and key features of the mentorship program used at CGSI. Educators can use this document to inform or guide the development of their own mentoring models.
