Module 2: Agency
In Module 2: Agency, educators are introduced to "Agency," the second of the 5 A's in Dr. Jamila Lyiscott's Liberation Literacies Pedagogy. In this module, educators will develop critical competencies to understand and support students with how to bridge self-awareness with critical social consciousness for navigating online learning in socially just ways.
Please note that throughout each module, it is essential that you engage in all texts, activities, and reflection on a personal level before you begin to implement a Liberation Literacies approach into your pedagogy. Each module is adaptable for both you and students, but personal development must precede pedagogical impact.
