Introducing your staff to the Framework for Teaching

The Danielson 2013 Framework for Teaching is the rubric used as a formative tool for teacher development as well as for evaluating teacher practice. This set of Professional Learning Activities includes six 30-minute sessions aimed at building teachers’ and school leaders’ familiarity with the Framework for Teaching. Please see the document titled "Introducing your Staff to the Framework for Teaching: How to Use this Professional Learning Activity" for a description of the sessions and the materials required for each.

In this session, participants develop their ability to observe classroom practice while collecting low-inference evidence of teacher practice and code observation evidence.
