Computer programming - Scratch: Unit 2 - Grade 6

This is the second unit in grade 6 computer programming, Scratch. In this unit students will learn about the structure of a program. The unit covers parallelism, loops, booleans, and conditionals.

Included Resources

This is the first learning activity in grade 6 computer programming, Scratch: Unit 2. This activity shows the students how to translate ideas into Scratch script. In addition, students will learn the concept of parallelism in computer programming and create the projects using parallelism.

This is the second learning activity in grade 6 computer programming, Scratch: Unit 2. This activity will introduce the Broadcast block in Scratch and how to make more than two sprites interact each other.

This is the third learning activity in grade 6 computer programming, Scratch: Unit 2. This activity will introduce how to make loops, booleans and conditional statements with Scratch script.

This is the fourth learning activity in grade 6 computer programming, Scratch: Unit 2. In this activity, students will remix (revise and modify) an existing Scratch starter project and include multiple repeat blocks, forever blocks, and conditional statements.
