Compliant or engaged learners and the classroom environment professional learning activity

Through engaging in this 40-minute professional learning activity, participants will distinguish between “compliant” and “engaged” students. Participants will also explain interrelationships between student intellectual engagement and select Framework for Teaching Domain 2 components, as well as plan strategies that ensure that all students are intellectually engaged learners.
