Lesson 12: Gaming + computers

In this lesson, students will examine several video game systems and learn about the systems’ processor cock rates (speed), input devise, and game graphics. Students will also take a look at assembly code of a game to see how programming languages have changed. Looking at the code will help inform students on how coding (for example, the way we code) might change by the time the students are adults.

Included Resources

This pdf contains an example of the assemble code for the game Super Mario 3 on the first page and then the source code for the Furby toy.
